We are pleased to introduce you to our partnership programs that share our mission in celebrating the
mysteries and miracles of life through the arts. Our goal is to learn and grow with them in providing
education, service and healing to others through individual, family and community art programs.
We invite you to learn more about each of them, and discover how you can support their program visions.
Global Harmony Project
Memory and Media Project
Global Harmony Project is an exciting new effort with a mission to empower youth, bridge cultures, and promote peace in areas of conflict around the world through the arts. We strive to enrich the lives of children across the globe through meaningful cross-cultural arts experiences and educational arts residencies that nurture personal expression, cultural identity, and global community.
We believe that:
Children are instrumental purveyors of peace and reconciliation.
Global Harmony Project recognizes the role of children in shaping our future global community. We provide the leaders of tomorrow with arts experiences that give voice to their everyday lives and expand the world's ideas of humanity, compassion, and peacemaking.
The arts provide a powerful tool for personal and social change.
Global Harmony Project uses the arts as a universal language in examining and celebrating culture, community, and vision. Studies show that youth participation in the arts builds self-esteem, confidence, and critical thinking and cooperation skills (President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities and the Arts Education Partnership, 1999).
- To empower youth around the globe with arts experiences that nurture personal expression, cultural identity, and global community
- To promote artists and traditions from around the globe in ways that nurture cross-cultural understanding and global community
- To educate an international audience on arts traditions from around the globe and their role within youth empowerment, cross cultural understanding, and peacemaking.

The mission of the Memory and Media Project is to bring psychological and emotional support to patients and families living with Alzheimer's disease through the creative process and end product of multimedia portraiture.
Creating a video portrait is a collaborative project involving the portraiture subjects who provide stories, photographs, and music, and a video artist who collects and assembles these artifacts into a digital video. We believe that the act of articulating memories and emotions, and weaving them together with other media elements enables us to respond in a meaningful way to a disease that often disempowers those whom it affects.
